Last year we surprised my sister on Christmas Eve with matching Family Christmas Pajamas. She always does matching pajamas with her kids, but we decided to get everyone in on it—even my dad. We all had matching pajama bottoms paired with pajama shirts customized with special Christmas sayings. The sayings matched each person’s personality and were mainly derived from some of our favorite Christmas songs. I couldn’t share the designs last year since they were a surprise, but now I can share the designs with you. You can use them on pajamas but also on sweatshirts, bags, mugs and more. Have fun with it.

The movie White Christmas inspired 4 of the sayings:
- For my dad (no explanation needed): The Grandest Son of a Soldier of Them All
- For my niece and aunt who both love dance: The Best Things Happen While You’re Dancing
- For my nephew who loves snowboarding: What is Christmas with No Snow?
- For my brother-in-law who loves skiing: How I’m Longing to Ski!
My mom and I got shirts with sayings inspired by Dolly & Kenny Roger’s Christmas album:
- For my mom (our biggest cheerleader): I Believe In Santa Clause and I Believe In You!
- For me, because I always fly home for Christmas: I’ll Be Home with Bells On!
My youngest sister Sarah got a classic New Kids On the Block Christmas song lyric: Have a Funky, Funky Christmas! If you know, you know!
And last, but not least, my sister Megan who inspired the whole thing got: I’m Only a Morning Person on December 25th. She loves sleeping in, but on Christmas, she’s waking us up at 5 am as if we are all crazy to still be sleeping. So while not a Christmas song, it had to be done.
