February 8, 2021

Who do you miss spilling the tea with in person? Thanks to social distancing, we might just be missing more than usual, making gift-giving a little extra special right now. Therefore, this Valentine’s Day (or “Galentine’s” Day), why not let your friends know you’re thinking about them with a Spill the Tea Gift Basket complete with a free gift tag printable? No worries if you missed the deadline for Valentine’s Day. The printable PDF file also comes with “Happy Birthday” and “Get Well Soon” gift tags.

Materials

  • FREE Spill the Tea Gift Tag Printable PDF File
  • Small basket (we used a basket from TJMaxx but this basket from Target would also work)
  • Crinkle paper basket filler (we used Pink Paper Shred from Target)
  • Your favorite tea (we used Harney & Sons Peppermint Herbal Tea from Target)
  • A cute mug (we used the XO Stoneware Mug Pink: Harth & Hand with Magnolia at Target)
  • Cookies (or another small treat) in a treat bag
  • Ribbon and/or pom-pom fringe

Instructions

Download and print the free Spill the Tea PDF file. Print on white cardstock. Cutout gift tags and punch a hole in each tag. Set aside to attach to your basket and treat bags after assembled.

Assemble your gift basket. Fill your basket with the crinkle paper. Place your favorite tea and a cute mug in the basket. Add cookies or other treats to your mug using a treat bag. Tie treat bag shut using ribbon and one of the small printable gift tags. Tie on the Spill the Tea Gift Tag to the basket using ribbon. Now you’re ready to give your basket to a friend you’re missing!
