I had so much fun baking yesterday. I made my Grandma Detrick’s Christmas Cookies and as soon as I tasted the finished cookie, I was transported to Christmas time. And so while it may not be looking a lot like Christmas here in Southern California, it sure is tasting like it!
I was also part of a Christmas Dessert Blog Hop yesterday with my Grandma’s cookie, but the cookie isn’t very pretty. I figured I needed a cute way to package it and decided they would stack nicely in a mason jar. Then all the mason jar needed was a cute baking tag. And since you know I love designing party printables, it made sense to make a Christmas Baking Gift Tag for all of you to enjoy as well. Plus, Christmas cookies are meant to be shared, so this really would make the perfect Christmas gift for neighbors, co-workers, friends and family.
For the Christmas Cookie Packaging
First download the FREE Christmas Baking Gift Tag.
Then fill a wide-mouth mason jar with your cookies and tie on a tag using red and white baking twine. For an added touch, I spray painted the mason jar lids white. You can see my tutorial for DIY Metallic Mason Jar Lids for more inspiration on spraying jar lids.
Be sure to see my other free Christmas gift gags and gift ideas on the following posts: May Your Days Be Merry and Bright, Stovetop Potpourri and Homemade Hot Chocolate. Each DIY idea comes with it’s own free print-it-yourself file.
Happy baking and Merry Christmas!
