Halloween Bat Cookies: Peanut Butter Blossoms with a Twist

October 30, 2020

A classic Peanut Butter Blossom Cookie with a Halloween twist. Since this year has been so batty, we figured Halloween Bat Cookies were a must. And what’s better than a peanut butter cookie? How about a peanut butter cookie with a Reese’s cup in the center? Dress them up as bats and you have a winning Halloween cookie. Not to mention, a peanut butter lover’s dream cookie.

Ingredients

  • Your favorite peanut butter cookies (I used a Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix)
  • Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (1 piece per cookie)
  • Oreos (1 Oreo makes 2 cookies)
  • Candy Eyes (2 per cookie)
Halloween Bat Cookies: Peanut Butter Blossoms: Put Reese's Cup in Center of Each Cookie

Instructions

Bake Cookies & Add Peanut Butter Cups

Bake your favorite peanut butter cookies. Once they are out of the oven place a peanut butter cup into the center of the cookie. Place in the freezer to cool.

Prepare Oreos

While freezing, remove the cream filling from your Oreos. Keep the filling to use later. Cut each Oreo cookie in half.
