A classic Peanut Butter Blossom Cookie with a Halloween twist. Since this year has been so batty, we figured Halloween Bat Cookies were a must. And what’s better than a peanut butter cookie? How about a peanut butter cookie with a Reese’s cup in the center? Dress them up as bats and you have a winning Halloween cookie. Not to mention, a peanut butter lover’s dream cookie.
Ingredients
- Your favorite peanut butter cookies (I used a Betty Crocker Peanut Butter Cookie Mix)
- Mini Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups (1 piece per cookie)
- Oreos (1 Oreo makes 2 cookies)
- Candy Eyes (2 per cookie)
Instructions
Bake Cookies & Add Peanut Butter Cups
Bake your favorite peanut butter cookies. Once they are out of the oven place a peanut butter cup into the center of the cookie. Place in the freezer to cool.
Prepare Oreos
While freezing, remove the cream filling from your Oreos. Keep the filling to use later. Cut each Oreo cookie in half.
Assemble Bat Cookies
Remove your cooled cookies from the freezer. Attach two Oreo halves to the center of each Reese’s cup using the discarded Oreo cream filling. Next, attach your candy eyes using the Oreo cream filling.
I know this year brings challenges to celebrating, but I hope you still have a safe and festive Halloween!
