Peppermint White Russian with FREE Holiday Tags
I bring to you a classic White Russian with a holiday twist. I originally created this easy drink for The Rustic Life Holiday Gift and Entertaining Guide and also included a free print-it-yourself Holiday Toppers and Tags printable.
If you haven’t already guessed from the name, the twist on this drink is the addition of Peppermint Schnapps. I love anything peppermint at this time of year so I really wanted to get it into my cocktails too. A classic White Russian is vodka, Kahlúa and cream. The flavors just lend so perfectly to adding peppermint. So for the peppermint version, just switch out the vodka for Peppermint Schnapps. Or if it’s too much peppermint for you, do half vodka and half Peppermint Schnapps (that’s the version I preferred).
For the garnish, I rimmed the glasses with crushed up candy canes. This added touch immediately dresses up the glass and tells guests they are about to enjoy a candy cane inspired treat. Plus I added a party straw decked for the holidays with my free print-it-yourself Holiday Toppers and Tags! I’m sure many of you have realized that I love me a party printable and these tags are oh so cute. You can use them like I did to embellish party straws or as favor tags, cupcake toppers, dress up your Christmas cards, and the list goes on. The beauty of print-it-yourself printables is you can do any or all of the above.
