You are loved! It’s our greatest promise from God, yet when we are stressed, overwhelmed, lonely or hurting, we can forget this promise. So it’s our job to remind each other daily of His everlasting love. We do this mainly through our actions: helping a friend, smiling at a stranger, giving support to people in need, responding kindly to our spouse, tucking our kids into bed at night… Everyday small gestures show our loved ones—and even strangers—that they are loved.
That said, spreading love was the inspiration behind my latest free gift tag printable. I hope the tag serves as a gentle reminder that no matter what, you are loved! You can attach it to a birthday present, hostess gift, neighbor gift, party favor, a bouquet of flowers or even your child’s lunch bag. However you use it, the recipient is sure to feel special and, you guessed it, loved!
The You Are Loved PDF file prints six gift tags on a 8.5″ x 11″ page. I recommend printing it on white cardstock so that your tag is sturdy. For more printing instructions and tips, see my Print-It-Yourself Tips page.
Of course I wanted to give you a couple examples of how I’ve used the gift tag so below are a couple examples.
Gift Basket of Pumpkins
First, I attached a tag to a basket full of baby boo white pumpkins for my cousin Michele’s birthday. Fall is her season (she loves every aspect) so when I saw pumpkins at the grocery store only days before her birthday, I knew that’s what I wanted to give her. Little did I know that on the day of her birthday party she sent her husband on a mission to find pumpkins and he came home empty handed. Needless to say, she was pretty happy when I showed up with this basket in hand. Proof that a gift doesn’t have to be expensive to be meaningful. I mean, do I know my friend or what?
I love the basket full of pumpkins, but wouldn’t it be super fun to also attach the tags to single pumpkins and then leave the pumpkins in your neighbors’ mailboxes or on their front porches? That would be a fun way to ring in autumn.
The basket of pumpkins not only makes for a great fall gift, but is also a super simple, yet really cute way to decorate for the fall season. White baby boo pumpkins range from $0.50 to $2.00 each and last all season.
Mason Jar with Cookies
The design is not fall specific, so I attached the tags to mason jars filled with chocolate chip cookies. This is an easy hostess gift idea. It also works as a “just because I love you” gift for family, friends and neighbors.
I also want to remind you that I’ve teamed with JORD Wood Watch for a GIVEAWAY! There is still time to enter, so see my original post for all the details.
