Moscow Mule Gift Basket - Free Recipe Card Download

Moscow Mule Gift Basket – FREE Recipe Card Download

March 9, 2015

My weekend was all about creative gifting. With Moscow Mule’s being the latest drink trend, I thought it would be fun to create a gift basket featuring the very popular copper mugs. The basket was so easy to make. You’ll need the following:

  1. Copper Mugs (See below for 3 of my favorites)
  2. Ginger Beer – It’s nonalcoholic and usually available with other popular mixers like Tonic. I like buying at BevMo!, Total Wine or Trader Joe’s. A bartender recommended Fever-Tree as his favorite so I used it here.
  3.  Vodka – pick your favorite or just find a fun label like I did.
  4. Mint – include a cute pot of mint so they have the right garnish.
  5. Limes – I forgot the limes, but it would be the perfect last touch.
  6. Moscow Mule Recipe Card – Download our FREE one!
  7. Cute Basket

Hey just wanted to give you a quick heads up and let you know a few of the images aren’t loading correctly.
I’m not sure why but I think its a linking issue. I’ve tried it in two different internet browsers and both show the same results.

Happy Friday! I thought I’d welcome August with some new flowers.

This time of year, I love the look of sunflowers mixed with pink and purple dahlias, so I set out to recreate that same feeling using faux and dried flowers. The key wasn’t finding the exact blooms, but rather choosing realistic stems in similar colors that captured the same vibe.

I’m loving how it turned out. And as a bonus, these flowers show no signs of wilting in this summer heat. 😉

I never set out to build a collection, but somehow I always fall for what I call the Vintage Domino Effect. 😉 Roseville is just one of the vintage USA pottery makers I collect, and I love finding pieces that work together without being a matching set. In this collection, the different floral patterns and forms come together through a shared color palette, giving it a curated feel.

This collection features four classic Roseville florals:

Water Lily (1943) — I found it at the Hull Pottery Association National Show

Iris (1939) — found at the Urbana Antique Show & Flea Market

White Rose (1940) — found while antiquing in the Zanesville, Ohio area

Clematis (1944) — found on a road trip through North Carolina

Which pattern is your favorite? And tell me I’m not the only one who’s fallen for the Vintage Domino Effect.

Are you into the Dirty Soda craze? They were a hit at Mackie’s grad party. It’s pretty easy to set up a “help yourself” bar. Just have a variety of sodas and syrups, some cherries and limes, and don’t forget the cream. We also provided some example recipes inspired by our graduate. Both kids and adults had fun making their drinks. I highly recommend and would do this again. #dirtysoda #gradparty
